Learn to roller skate with a Raleigh instructor
Your lesson begins with where you are—not where you think you should be. Dawn Kifalme is a Roller Skating Association Certified roller-skating coach who teaches adults through clear demonstrations, movement cues and repeatable practice. She starts with your comfort, current skills and goals, then shapes the session around what you need to learn next.
If you are brand new to quad skates, you can work on a stable ready position, rolling forward and stopping. If you already skate, bring a specific goal such as backward skating, transitions or roller-dance footwork. Adult group classes in Raleigh are another way to learn with Dawn.
Private lessons can help you
- Find a stable ready position and improve balance
- Learn controlled rolling, stopping and safe recovery
- Build forward and backward skating skills
- Develop transitions, edges, rhythm and flow
- Return to skating after time away
- Work through fear with patient, progressive instruction
Who lessons are for
Private coaching is ideal for first-time adult skaters, returning skaters, fitness-minded beginners and developing skaters who want focused help with a specific skill.
