I first stepped onto skates at five years old. Skating became joy, freedom and a way to feel fully present in my body.
Years later, after becoming a mother of four, I returned to skating with a different relationship to movement. I learned to skate backward as an adult and reached the strongest, most capable version of myself in my forties. That experience changed the way I understood progress: you do not age out of learning something new.
As a National Academy of Sports Medicine Certified Personal Trainer with experience using roller skating for fitness, I understand skating as both a skill and a powerful form of conditioning. As a Roller Skating Association Certified coach, I teach through clear progressions, movement awareness and patient repetition.
Today I help adults move from uncertainty to trust. I want every skater to understand what they are doing, why it works and how to practice it with greater confidence.
